Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Miroslav Ivanov is the data controller for the RackRite waitlist and is based in Bulgaria. You can contact him at rackrite.app@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We collect your email address when you join the RackRite waitlist. We also record when you gave consent and the version of the consent wording you accepted.
Our hosting provider, Netlify, may process standard technical information when you access the website, such as your IP address, request information, and the time of your request. We may also temporarily use IP addresses to limit abuse of the signup form. We do not add your IP address to the RackRite waitlist.
RackRite does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on this website.
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis
We use your email address to manage the RackRite waitlist, invite you to beta testing, notify you when RackRite launches, and send occasional product updates about RackRite.
Our legal basis for these emails is your consent. Joining the waitlist is optional, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Necessary server logs, security measures, and rate limiting are processed based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, preventing abuse, and maintaining the reliability of the service.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist email and consent record while you remain subscribed to the RackRite waitlist and product updates.
We remove your email from future communications if you unsubscribe, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete your data. We may retain a minimal suppression record where necessary to make sure that we respect your unsubscribe request and do not contact you again.
We may also delete waitlist information when it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy.
Technical logs and temporary rate-limit information are retained in accordance with Netlify's operational and security practices.
5. Who processes your data
We use Resend to store RackRite waitlist contacts and send emails, including beta invitations, launch announcements, and occasional product updates.
We use Netlify to host the RackRite website and process website requests and related technical information.
These providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their published safeguards include data processing agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, and participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for eligible transfers.
You can read more about Resend's data protection practices and Netlify's privacy practices.
We do not sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
6. Beta testing
If you join the RackRite waitlist, we may email you when beta testing becomes available. A beta invitation may contain links to testing services provided by platforms such as Apple TestFlight or Google Play.
Joining a beta is optional. If you choose to join through one of these platforms, Apple, Google, or another testing platform may process information under its own privacy terms.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable data protection law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict certain processing, request data portability, or object to certain processing.
You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew it.
To withdraw your consent or exercise your privacy rights, email rackrite.app@gmail.com.
RackRite marketing, beta, launch, and product-update emails will include an unsubscribe option where applicable.
8. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we process your personal data, you can contact us first at rackrite.app@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) in Bulgaria. See the CPDP's guidance on lodging complaints.
Where applicable, you may also contact the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live, work, or where you believe a data protection infringement occurred.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy when RackRite's data processing practices change. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date of the most recent update.
